In the growing season of 2025, BCP will expand its Adullam West garden. The expansion of Adullam West will primarily focus on using the Three Sisters method. The Three Sisters method is a Native American intercropping system where corn, pole beans, and squash are planted in close proximity. When implemented correctly, this method provides an abundance of shelf-stable produce in the Fall that can be consumed through the Winter months.
It is our hope that the successful implementation of the Three Sisters method will help us supplement the dietary needs of our neighbors and reduce their cost of living.
